About this activity
Your tour starts with a pick up at Keflavik Airport. From there, your guide will take you on an awesome journey through the wildest parts of Reykjanes Peninsula.

Your first stop is at two lighthouses that are located on top of the Peninsula. They are just outside of an old fishing village named “Garður”. One of them was built during the World War II. Next to the lighthouses is an old wooden boat on dry. Is there a better way to pay a respect to old sailors than with fermented shark and real Icelandic wine named “Black Death”.

While enjoying the aftertaste of the shark, you will visit the oldest fishing village of Reykjanes Peninsula. There is an amazing small old black church. Next to the church is an anchor from an American ship that ran off ground at the village about 130 years ago. So the anchor is put next to the church to keep the memory of the sailors that went with it safe. What a great way to pay a respect to the old sailors again.

Continue you head down from the North American part of Iceland to the European part of Iceland. There you will find the bridge between two continents. There are not many places in the world you can walk from Europe over to America. There is very popular to take a picture if oneself holding the bridge. There you will get some delicacies from Ostabúðin, which is one of Reykjavik´s finest street Restaurants.

A short drive down Europe you will visit an old female ghost named Gunna. She has a colourful geothermal field named after her. Sometimes when you stand and watch this beautiful area, you suddenly feel cold coming down your spine. Do not worry though, it is only Gunna having some fun. There you will enjoy a variety of buns from Iceland´s finest bakery, Brauð og Co.

Next to Gunna is Iceland´s oldest lighthouse, Reykjanes lighthouse. It is located on top off a big hill and when you stand on top of the hill next to the lighthouse you get the most stunning view over the peninsula and the ocean. On the side off Reykjanes lighthouse are the most incredible cliffs. Standing on top off them and breathing the fresh air from the North Atlantic ocean is so unique.

Next stop is the famous Brimketill. It Is a nature made seawater tub located in the cliffs by the ocean. You can walk up to it and also bathe in it. We warn you though, that is only for the most extremist because it is quite cold.

Your last stop before heading back to Reykjavik is the walking path next to the Blue Lagoon. There you are surrounded by amazing lava fields in surreal environment.
