Day tour and boat cruise in Arraial do Cabo

Get picked up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro and sit back and relax as we take you all the way to Arraial do Cabo in an air-conditioned minivan. Arriving, we will set off on a boat cruise stopping and passing by beaches with transparent and calm waters such as "As Prainhas“ beach known also as “Praia da Escadaria”. This is truly a beautiful beach with its crystal blue sea and white sand.

Next on the list is Praia do Forno (oven beach), which is famous for its more warmer waters and is around about 500 meters long and considered as one of the top 5 most beautiful beaches of Brazil. We will partake in a small 20 min hike to get there for those who are able, but elders and children can opt to access it via the boat.

Heading back into the boat and out to see we will visit Gruta Azul (Blue cave) which has a 3 meter opening and is 15 meters tall, and is by far one of the most amazing parts of the cruise and trip. During specific times of the year many different shades of blue can be seen when the sun shines through the cave and reflects through the water in the cave.

The Ilha do Farol (light house island) is a also one of the most perfect beaches of Brazil, with a national study considering it one of the most purest waters and sand quality. Moving on we will go to Fenda de Nossa Senhora (a crevasse in the mountain) which in the middle of it stands an iconic statue of Our Lady of Peace, which our guide will tell you a story of its mysterious appearances and disappearances.

After this we will head to Pedra do Gorila (Gorila Rock) - A large and natural rock edge with an appearance of a Gorilla the tour will then head to Praia Grande (Long beach) where its 40km long beach, as its name suggests is the longest beach of Rio de Janeiro. With an abundant marine life it is common during specific times of the year to see families of whales passing, as well as schools of dolphins and even small sharks. Following this amazing trip we will head back and take you back to your hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
