The tour was well organized and gave us the perfect set of main attractions of Rio. Guide Lucas was on top, his English is great. Not only he introduced us to the history of the city, we also got suggestions on what to see on our own, and got answers to all our questions. We've spent about 10 hours without a rush and got lots of pictures. Recommended. The collection from hotel was done in timely manner. However, after booking we did not receive any additional instructions and it was not clear if they will collect us from our hotel or we have to go to some meeting point. So we decided to call the number provided in reservation. That didn't work well - there was an answering machine with a message in Portuguese which we didn't understand. We had to ask for assistance at the hotel reception.
- For the price, you get a lot for your money as all tickets are included for Sugarloaf Mountain and Christ the Redeemer. It took the hassle out of trying to sort your own transport and tickets. - We decided not to purchase lunch via Viator and paid on the day. It only cost 20 reals each for the buffet so much cheaper than paying for it via Viator. It was a buffet that was ok. However, be prepared to be charged extra if you leave any food on your plate! We got charged an extra 7 reals as they took it away with food on it. Not a huge amount but very annoying regardless. - The guide was excellent and gave lots of information for each site. - The day is long but worth it!
