Historical Centre and Olympic Boulevard

For this experience you need to be someone who enjoys walking. If you do, you will reap the benefits of seeing places a car can’t get to. The center of Rio, for example, is full of alleys and places that are only accessible to pedestrians.
We start our journey at Cinelândia Square in front of the Municipal Theatre before moving on to: The Metropolitan Cathedral, Praça Tiradentes, the Real Gabinete Portugues Library and Cultural Centre (entering when open), the Confeitaria Colombo (which we pop into for a coffee and and legendary snack when open), Largo da Carioca, Praça XV, Rio’s Old Town, The CCBB Cultural Centre, The Olympic Torch, the Olympic Boulevard, Street Art Mural - Etnias by Kobra, Cais do Valongo and Pedra do Sal. Our final stop is at a very traditional restaurant in Rio (where you will get a free Brazilian snack). We will also pass by the Museum of Tomorrow and MAR (Rio Art Museum).
