Private full day tour in Rio (Sugarloaf Christ and City Tour)

This experience begins with the Find Your Rio host meeting visitors at their hotel. The first stop is Christ the Redeemer, by way of a train-ride to the top of the Corcovado. The cost of the train is included in the experience. We reserve in advance at a fixed time to avoid spending time in queues; however this means that punctuality is essential. Your host will explain interesting information and details about the statue of Christ, and also about the Floresta da Tijuca National Park. The walk to the top of the Corcovado takes about 20 minutes, allowing you to take in the beautiful scenery along the way.
To complete the morning, choose one of our City Tour Options: The Santa Teresa neighbourhood or Botanical Gardens* and Chinese Belvedere Viewing Point, The Historic Centre walking tour, a visit to the outside of The Maracanã Stadium, the Metropolitan Cathedral and Sambadrome.
After the City Tour, it’s time for lunch. You can choose which place to eat at along the way. Your host will be on hand to give you some tips, and they will be more than happy to help you find somewhere that suits your tastes. In the event that you don’t want lunch and prefer to just grab a quick bite to eat, that’s absolutely fine too! Then on to the final part of the day, the cable car ride to the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. There are actually two mountains to visit, Urca and then Sugarloaf itself.
