I really wanted to experience Rio de Janeiros nightlife so I booked a nightlife tour with Tomaz on Saturday, the first day of carnival. Thomass tour usually includes about three or four nightlife spots. But after I booked his tour, he suggested that instead of hitting up three spots, we should go to a Mascarade ball at the Sugar Loaf Mountain. I thought to myself that it would be lovely to party on top of one of Rio de Janeiros iconic tourist spots, so I booked the tickets asap. Thomas showed up in an upscale black car right on time to my hotel I cant say the same for other tour operators. When we arrived at the party, I could tell that is was going to be a good party, so I was quite pleased. The party offered an open bar for the first hour another plus. I had a great time with Tomaz. He speaks impeccable English he spent some time in the United States so we talked a lot about Brazil and Rio de Janeiro. Thomas also helped with taking tons of photos on Sugar Loaf. I was able to get some photos with the Christ Redeemer statue in the background! Left the party at 3:00 am and Im happy to have booked the experience. Thank you, Tomaz.
