We ran a little late but honestly it was SOOOOO WORTH IT!! I was very nervous to run off the platform but once in the air, you feel so free!!! I would highly HIGHLY recommend Konrad Heilmann’s company!! I already want to go hang gliding again!!! Thank you and until next time!!
Everyone was great and friendly. The weather was a little bit of concern, but by trusting their experience, I was able to be part of the best experience ever.
Was forgotten atop the mountain for an inordinate amount of time. Fortunately, my friend was at the bottom insisting that they left me up there or I am not certain how I would have gotten back to the bottom. When they finally did return for me, the flight down was nice but the landing was extremely rough. They attempted to make it all up by purchasing me beer and acai. The manager even offered to cover the taxi ride out for a helicopter ride I had to pay for the helicopter and the way back - which I didn't find out until I was there.
This was our first activity after getting to Rio and it started out shaky. I called the number on the voucher to confirm the time and place of pickup which I had requested from Konrad via email at the time of booking and was told our reservation was for the next day. When I said no, I had a voucher with the date, I was told yes the reservation was for that day and they would send someone to get us. They did and then the car had a problem and we were put into a taxi. Once we got to the site however, the staff couldn't have been friendlier. Klaus and Mauricio? were our guides and they were so nice they really made the experience great for us. Did not get any briefing as described, got some quick takeoff instructions and then we were off. It did seem a bit rushed as other reviews have mentioned. Think we were late or something. Anyway, the hang gliding was a surreal experience and the landing almost perfect. Watched videos and pics but no refreshments were offered. Got the feeling Viator and the tour company do not communicate well. The experience was amazing and I would definitely recommend it.
