About this activity

Samba is so much more than just 4 days of carnival. This experience demonstrates how samba is music, rhythm, dance, and a way of life for cariocas. We begin with a 60-minute class in a dance centre in Copacabana, before moving on to a club with live samba. The venue is selected by the teacher/host, who may just have inside knowledge on any interesting samba events in the city that go beyond the traditional club ones.
The price of drinks is not included in the experience, but transport to the venue and admission is. Participants need to pay for transport to the class meeting point and to make their way home. However, if you want to stay out longer than the teacher, there’s no problem at all! The experience lasts for 4 hours.
