Trekking at Pedra da Gavea in Rio de Janeiro

Trek up over 800 meters to the top of Pedra da Gavea for panoramic views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Your local guide will lead you along the two paths that lead to the top, the Peak of Four and the Carrasqueira.
The Peak of Four is a shorter path, but is more difficult to access as you must pass through the dense forests of Garganta do Céu. Carrasqueira is a subalpine path along the rocky coast.
