About this activity

In this tour we will provide jungle safari in open jeep in Chilla Range of Rajaji National Park. Total tour is 3 hrs approx. You will require to directly reach at Gate of Chilla Range. Our Guide and driver will meet you at the reception area of the park. Apart from you or your group there will be driver and english speaking guide from our side. It is total 25-30 kms drive in circuit route. There will be multiple stops in between depend on best place for animal spotting. Inside the park there is no restaurants so we will provide you complementary mineral water (1ltr), potato chips (50 g) and packed fruit juice (200ml) per person.

Entry fees are included for guest as well as still camera fees. Movie camera fees are extra (INR 5000 per person) and can be paid directly at the park. Current rates are according to foreign visitors. Indian nationality visitors will get INR 450 per person cash discount from guide. Kindly collect at the starting of tour.

Valid Passport and Visa is compulsory to carry during the trip for all foreign visitors. Indian nationality guest will require photo id proof like aadhar, voter id, licence etc.

Important Note: Any animal / bird view is depended on luck as they are not forced to come into safari area.

About the park: Rajaji National Park area is 800 square kms in Uttarakhand State of India. The park is home to the Cheetal, Barking deer, Sambar deer, Wild Boar, antelopes such as the Nilgai, Goral and of course the

Asian Elephant for which this park is the Northern and Western most boundary protecting it under

Project Elephant.

The primates include the Macaque and the Langur. The Indian Hare and the Indian Porcupine are among some of the small mammals found in the park.

Reptiles in Rajaji include one of the largest Pythons, King Cobra, Common Krait, Indian Cobra and the Monitor Lizard. The park also houses over four hundred bird species. The Oriental Pied Hornbill, Crested Kingfisher and Crimson sunbird are some of the residents of our retreat.

If you are very lucky than you might spot Jackal, Hyena, Jungle Cat, Leopard Cat, Civets, leopard and even tiger.
