Rishikesh Private Sightseeing Tour

Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel. First we will visit Bharat Mandir Temple (1200 year old temple) from which the town got its name. Later you will see Sivananda Ashram (80 year old religious ashram), Lakshman Jhula (famous iron rope suspension bridge), local market. After lunch walk towards the other similar bridge through market and riverside footpath. At here you will see Gita Bhawan Temple & Parmarth Niketan Ashram by walk. Your last place will evening Ganga Aarti (prayer ceremony for holy river ganga) at Parmarth Niketan Ashram. Ceremony will be with live music and chanting of spiritual songs. After the ceremony you will return to car parking by walk. From here you will be dropped at your hotel. In the tour you will learn about city, culture, hindu religion, temples, ashrams and holy river ganga. There will be some scope of customization so if you want you discuss the tour with guide when you start and give your suggestions.

 

The transportation will be air condition car with professional driver. English speaking guide is also included in the cost. Apart from that all monument entry fees and charges related to car (such as parking, toll, driver allowances) is included in the cost. You don't need to pay any entry fees at anywhere in the tour. Meals are not included in the cost. There are multiple restaurants en route where you can take lunch according to your choice and pay directly. Mineral water 1 liter per person will be provided. Pick up and drop to hotels in Rishikesh is included.
