Itinerary
Tentative Schedule:
Day - 1 Reporting at Rishikesh (Laxman Jhula (near police chowki area) at 06:30AM & proceed to Govind Ghat (10hrs. drive)
We all will meet up at Laxaman Jhoola (near police chowki) by 6:30 am in the morning. We will hire a cab to drive to Govind Ghat (We will share the cost of the vehicle among all the participants at actual). The drive will take around 10 hours form Rishikesh. Over night stay at hotel in Govind Ghat
Day - 2 Govind Ghat - Ghangria [Duration: 5- 6 hours]
Early in the morning after breakfast from Govind Ghat it is a gradual ascent along a well maintained trail to Ghangria. Spend the rest of the day exploring the surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Ghangria.
Day - 3 Ghangria - Valley of Flowers - Ghangria [Duration: 4 - 5 hours]
This day's trip take us into the Valley of Flowers. Explore the valley and return back to the hotel for the night stay at hotel in Ghangria.
Day - 4 Ghangria - Hemkund Sahib - Ghangria [Duration: 5 - 6 hours]
A steep hike to the lake of Hemkund Sahib (a holy place for the Sikhs) is planned for the day. Return back to the hotel for the night stay hotel in Ghangria.
Day - 5 Ghangria - Govind Ghat [Duration: 3 - 4 hours]
Trek back to Govind Ghat. We start early in the morning from Ghangria and reach Govind Ghat by 12:00 pm. Check in to the hotel. On this day people who wants to visit Badrinath Temple they can hire cab leave afternoon and evening they can come back to the hotel. Overnight stay at Govindghat.
Day - 6 Govindghat - Rishikesh [Duration: 8-9 hours]
You can start early in the morning from Govindghat and reach Rishikesh by 6:00 pm. (We will hire a cab at Govindghat to drive to Rishikesh and the costing will be shared among all the participants) The drive will take around 9/10 hours form Govindghat to reach Rishikesh. Stay at hotel in Rishikesh (Hotel cost is not included)
