2-in-1: Colosseum and Wine Tasting

Your guide will lead you past the long lines and into the Colosseum where you will learn about the trials and tribulations of life under ancient rule as well as the influence the Colosseum had over ordinary citizens. Learn about the origins of the Flavian Amphitheatre. Next, climb to the near-top of the arena for panoramic views of the city.

After your tour of the Colosseum, take an extended walk through the ancient Roman Forum and around the Palatine Hill. After the tour ends, make your own way from the Roman Forum area to near Campo de' Fiori for wine tasting at 8:30pm. You will be served a varied selection of fine wines as well as delicious local snacks.
