We booked the 2 Nights in Capri with Transport from Rome tour in order to makes things easier for us--so we wouldn't have to arrange a train from Rome, cab in Naples, hydrofoil to Capri, transport to Capri hotel, etc. This tour operator did just the opposite--We will never use them again and will avoid using Viator if at all possible as a result (out of fear that it routinely works with these types of companies). The whole tour was completely disorganized and of the 5 tour operator employees we dealt with, 4 were incredibly aggressive and nasty. For example, Miriam and Tonino told us that no one ever takes the overnight tour, so they were likely to lose or forget our luggage unless we constantly reminded them--but when we did they actually shouted at us. They didn't provide any information about logistics and became hostile if you asked even the most essential questions (e.g. where and when to meet the local guide when we returned in 2 days). Not surprisingly, because of their disorganization and hostility, our luggage was lost and was never delivered to our hotel. When we called the tour operator to find out where it was, the representative outright lied (telling us our luggage was in our hotel) and actually hung up on us! I ended up having to pay for a ride to go down to the dock myself, where I found our luggage thrown by the water. Because we got no information about where to meet our return guide, we had to get there 2 hours early and just search the dock for people wearing stickers to arrive and then chase them down. (The only positive thing I could say is that Francesca, the guide for the return trip, was very helpful, professional, informative, and friendly.) This tour was not at all what was represented and tainted our whole time in Capri.
We had a great time once on the island but, the tour company were not very organized. This left us feeling really uncomfortable most of the first day.
