This was an amazing trip. It was well worth the cost. Viator took care of all of our travel, the hotel was fantastic, everything went really well. I highly recommend this trip!

The natural beauty is amazing but Carrani Tours made it disappointing. I never received information about my hotel name or where it was located nor the timing. I was just dropped off at the steps of a hotel. No written info or description by the company. Although the tour of Pompeii, lunch, and hotel was marvelous, the guide on our bus was hard to understand and not helpful. The non speaking driver that rushed a few of us off to the hotel in Amalfi made it impossible to communicate so I was without my bag for 2 days. The Carrani bus company did not help until the hotel clerk insisted and even then the driver did not come until the second day and was 45 minutes late. I was given no information on the schedule so I spent 7 hours in the hotel lobby waiting. This meant I missed the transportation that would have taken me back to Rome sooner. Also, no one told me that food was included so I spent money for meals. The hotel said they have no customer service with that bus company, they just drop people off. It is not right to say it is a tour when actually the only tour is the great guide in Pompeii. IT-1035631595 through Viator departed Thursday, Sept 14- I would encourage people to book a hotel in the coastal area and find their own transportation because there is no advantage to this tour. It is not a tour.

The lunch provided was terrible. Plain fish or meat was a disgrace. I would not be proud to serve that. Pomeii tour was very educational. Amalfi was wonderful.
