Itinerary

Day 1: ROME - NAPLES - POMPEII - SORRENTO

Pass By: Castelli Romani, Colli Albani, Rome Italy
Departure at 07.30 am from our meeting point or pick up at the hotel from 6.45 am to 7.00 am for your trip from ROME to NAPLES by coach Leaving Rome in a southerly direction, we take the “Highway of the Sun” crossing the fertile Roman countryside through the area known as the ‘Castelli Romani', a group of small villages on the Albani Hills, in Lazio

Pass By: Abbazia di Montecassino, Via Montecassino S.n.c., 03043, Cassino Italy
Approximately halfway along the highway, you will be able to see the Abbey of Montecassino, known for its famous battle and complete destruction during the Second World War.

Descending towards the port of Mergellina and following the coastal road, we arrive in the ancient fishing quarter of Santa Lucia and see the impressive Castel dell’Ovo, an ancient castle in from of Santa Lucia's small harbor on the Gulf.

Upon leaving the city, we cross the fertile valley of Mount Vesuvius, passing the towns of Ercolano, Torre del Greco and Torre Annunziata before finally arriving at Pompeii

Stop At: Pompeii - Archaeological Area., Porta Marina Superiore (Via Villa dei Misteri) Piazza Immacolata, Piazza Porta Marina inf., 80045 Pompeii Italy
Stop for lunch then Visit the excavations on foot with a local guide on an archaeological journey through the ancient city. In approx. 2 hours you will see some of what has been discovered in more than 1,700 years since Pompeii was covered by ashes during the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79 AD.

At the end of the visit to Pompeii you’ll be transferred to Sorrento along the Sorrentine Coast to your Hotel. Dinner, overnight.

Day 2: SORRENTO - CAPRI - SORRENTO

After breakfast pick -up from the Hotel and transfer by mini-bus to the Harbour of Piano di Sorrento, jump on board of a semi-private boat (12 pax max.) and sail towards Capri

Jump on board of a semi-private boat (12 pax max.) and sail towards Capri. During the boat ride you'll be able to enjoy wonderful views of this amazing Coast while passing through the Natural Reserve of Punta Campanella. At the arrival, enjoy your free time to reach the famous piazzetta and any other exclusive corners of the island, or take the chance to swim and snorkel in the crystalline waters of the bay. Anyone knows the Faraglioni Rocks, the famous Grottoes (Blue, White and Green) and the Lighthouse of Punta Carena. For those who love to amble audio guides with itineraries will be provided on board to explore the little alleys of the town. In the early afternoon, return to Sorrento accompanied by a Limoncello tasting onboard of the boat.

Pass By: I Faraglioni, End of Via Tragara, Capri, Island of Capri Italy
Highlights of the boat ride will be The Faraglioni of Capri, three rocky peaks positioned to the south-east of the island. They are famous throughout the world thanks to the suggestive and historical overview

Stop At: Marina Di Capri, Via S. Francesco, 80076 Marina Grande NA, Italy
Once the boat ride is finished you will have 4 hours of free time at your disposal to stroll along the little alleys of the town (ask to the crew for audio guides with itineraries available on board for extra costs).
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Centro Sorrento, 80067 Sorrento, Metropolitan City of Naples, Italy
In the early afternoon, return to Sorrento accompanied by a Limoncello tasting onboard of the boat.

Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Duration: 2 minutes

Day 3: SORRENTO - ROME

Stop At: Centro Sorrento, 80067 Sorrento, Metropolitan City of Naples, Italy
Breakfast at the hotel, the rest of the day is at your leisure to explore the popular and attractive town of Sorrento. Perhaps you may want to visit the nearby villages of the peninsula, like Positano, Ravello or Amalfi.
Duration: 3 hours

Pass By: Stazione Termini, Piazza dei Cinquecento 1, 00185 Rome Italy
Return at hotel at 3.00 pm where you will meet your driver or assistant for your transfer to Pompeii where you’ll board the motorcoach back to Rome. Traffic permitting, the estimated time of arrival is 09:00 pm. At your arrival in Rome, no further services are included. The arrival time is expected to be around 9.00 pm by coach in the vicinity of Termini Rail station. End of services.
