Day 1: ROME - NAPLES - POMPEII - SORRENTO
Pass By: Castelli Romani, Colli Albani, Rome Italy
Departure at 07.30 am from our meeting point or pick up at the hotel from 6.45 am to 7.00 am for your trip from ROME to NAPLES by coach. Heading to South, we take the “Highway of the Sun” crossing the ‘Castelli Romani’, a group of small villages on the Albani Hills.
Pass By: Abbazia di Montecassino, Via Montecassino S.n.c., 03043, Cassino Italy
After you will see the Abbey of Montecassino from far, well known for the attacks received during the Second World War.

Once arrived in Naples we will descend towards the port of Mergellina and arrive to the ancient fishing quarter of Santa Lucia to see the impressive Castel dell’Ovo, an ancient castle

After Naples you will go to Pompeii. Once in Pompeii, you will enjoy a stop for lunch. After, you will visit the excavations with a local guide on an archaeological walking tour through the ancient city. In approx. 2 hours you will what has been discovered in more than 1,700 years since Pompeii was covered by ashes during the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79 AD.

After breakfast pick -up from the Hotel and transfer by mini-bus to the Harbour of Piano di Sorrento.
Pass By: Marina Di Capri, Via S. Francesco, 80076 Marina Grande NA, Italy
Jump on board of a semi-private boat (12 pax max.) and sail towards Capri. During the boat ride you'll be able to enjoy wonderful views of this amazing Coast while passing through the Natural Reserve of Punta Campanella. At the arrival, enjoy your free time to reach the famous piazzetta and any other exclusive corners of the island, or take the chance to swim and snorkel in the crystalline waters of the bay. Anyone knows the Faraglioni Rocks, the famous Grottoes (Blue, White and Green) and the Lighthouse of Punta Carena. For those who love to amble audio guides with itineraries will be provided on board to explore the little alleys of the town. In the early afternoon, return to Sorrento accompanied by a Limoncello tasting onboard of the boat.

While this was a 5 day trip from Rome, it CERTAINLY was not the tour I purchased as described on your OWN website “What to Expect” with details Day 1-5. The bus actually FORGOT to pick us up on Sunday morning. We had to take a fast train to Naples in hopes of catching up with the tour. A nauseating private car ride to Sorrento did not help the day! On day 2, our semi-private boat to Capri was actually a ferry carrying 300 passengers. No audio description was available nor Happy Hour and Limoncello tasting. Again big disappointment.! Day 3 was another harrowing drive along the coast and we arrived in Minori, NOT Amalfi. Again big disappointment. Day 4, talked to Carlo from tour company and he agreed to transfer us to Amalfi and change hotels. Day 5, driver took us to Naples to meet with bus tour going to Pompeii. Traffic was terrible and we were of course late. Everything that day was very rushed!!!! This whole 5 day tour is really individual day tours sold as 1 big package. Hotels and food were good for 3 stars. Think twice before you book this tour from Rome.
