We enjoyed the driving tour to Frascati. It was an enjoyable break from the fast pace in Rome. Frascati is a lovely, quaint town with beautiful views of the volcanic lake along the way. And the food at the end is very good! The only reason for a rating of less than 5 is that the driving is very fast. The guide points out several interesting places along the way, but the bus zips by too quickly for good pictures.
There was no exploring of Castelo Gandolfo . We saw most of these attractions from the bus. We did walk through Francati for the snack @ 30. I would have preferred to use that time to explore.
It was nice to see the scenery out side of Rome. It was a present drive and not as busy as Rome. Give us time to relax and enjoy the scenery. Good for people that want to take it easy and relax.
A quite and indeed a romantic tour. The guide knew her theme and explained to us the history of every village we passed by.The dinner was reasonable and the wine was excellent. My suggestion would be to increase the duration of this excursion by at least one hour. The view of Albano lake was breathtaking .
Beautiful trip out to the countryside of Rome. Very enjoyable and to finish up with a meal at Feascari was fantastic
