Fast access is probably a relative term...as it took 1 1/2 hours after the posted start time before we were actually inside the Colosseum. The guide was friendly and knowledgable. We spent about the right amount of time in the actual Colosseum (about 45 minutes). After that, we were free to wander or hook-up with the complimentary tour of the Roman Forum. This Roman Forum part of the tour actually started without any waiting in line. Again, the guide was friendly and knowledgable and after a short guided tour, we could then wander about as we wished. All and all a good tour, but a little draining after 4 hours in the sun.

Our tickets were for 9:30am. We didn’t enter the attraction until 10:50am. The host who walked us from the office to the tour guide was rude and condescending. The actual tour guide was knowledgeable and nice but by the time we actually entered the Colosseum we were hot and tired and over it. I would not use this company again.

We took the hop on hop off bus to the Colosseum. We were told the office to redeem our voucher was on the other side and up the street. By the time we would have found the office we would have the missed our tour time. So we merely walk around outside and took pictures through the open spaces in the structure. We thought the office was closer to the entrance. A suggestion next time is to allow more time to pick up the tickets in time for the entrance time.

Paid an extra €15 for these tickets as tickets on the official website sell out quickly. Our allocated time was 10am but they said that we will leave at 10:30am. Then we didnt leave till 10:45am. Glad we bought these tickets as the normal ticket queue was really long but dont expect to go straight away. Allocated time inside the colloseum was long enough.

Upon arriving at the ticket office, I waited in a long line just to be told I could not get in due to overbooking.

It took a long time to find where we had to get the tickets from. When we did a bloke said wait 10mins then someone else walked us to the main cue pushed us in front of everyone where the other man was at the front of the cue. He then brought are tickets gave them to us and just said walk that way and enjoy. But when we did get inside we really enjoyed it. Just wouldn't recommend the firm we used.
