About this activity
With your yickets begin your visit to the iconic ancient Roman Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheater. Skip the main entrance line with your fast-track combined day ticket that’s also valid for the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill.
Explore the amphitheater’s first and second levels at your own pace, and see the area where gruesome gladiator battles, real animal hunts, bloody public executions, and simulated sea battles were held. As you stroll around the Colosseum, try to imagine a crowd of up to 50,000 spectators cheering loudly as emperors decided the destiny of the gladiators.
Continue to the Via Sacra, or Sacred Way, the main road of the ancient Roman Empire, connecting the Colosseum to the Capitoline Hill and located just a few steps away from the famous Arch of Constantine.
Next you can visit the Roman Forum, the political, cultural, and social center of ancient Rome, where you’ll find the ruins of the Temple of Julius Caesar, the House of the Vestals, and others.
Finish off your unique visit at the top of the Palatine Hill, the birthplace of Rome. According to Roman mythology, this was the location of the cave where Romulus and Remus were found by the she-wolf Lupa, who nourished them and kept them alive.

We never got to do the tour! READ the fine print!! It is NOT just an entry ticket, the document you get after booking it is only a receipt of your purchase, unlike other tours. It says in the instructions, you are supposed to let them who exactly, idk what hour you plan to come through the tour. I got an obscure email 2 weeks before the day asking for the time we plan to come, but I missed it subject line just said do not reply. Then I got an email from Trip Advisor the day of our tour, saying that the booking agency wanted them to forward an email to us stating that they had attempted to get ahold of me to find out the time we planned to tour for the past 3 days. That was Not true! I only had received the one email 2 weeks before, and then had gotten a call from an unknown European number 3 times the morning of the day within ten minutes, with no voicemail. I emailed the booking agency 4 times within 2 hours that afternoon with no reply and even called back that unknown number and only got an answering message in Italian. Anyway, I'm sure if I had been more careful then things would've run smoothly and the visit great, but just goes to show how little the tour/booking agencies really want to help you or make you look more in the wrong.
