Your itinerary takes you to several of the most wonderful highlights in the Vatican Museums prior to entering into the world famous Sistine Chapel where you can gaze upon the many frescoes as well as masterpieces by Michelangelo.From the Sistine Chapel, with skip the line access, you then enter into St. Peter's Basilica, thelargest and by far the most important Church of Christianity.Once inside St. Peter's you can view the many masterpieces of Renaissance and Baroque art. Two of themost famous pieces are the Pietà by Michelangelo and the Baldachin over the main altar by Bernini.The tour concludes in the magnificient St. Peter's Square where again you can admire works byMichelangelo (the beautiful Cupola) and Bernini (the famous and unique double colonnade).

The Museum requires that wheelchair bound clients follow a different itinerary and aren’t allowed to join our regular tour.It is not permitted to enter Churches in shorts, uncovered shoulders, miniskirts.It is forbidden to bring into Museum metal objects, backpacks, umbrellas.Should St. Peter’s Basilica be closed for religious ceremonies, the tour will instead include the visit of Raphael’s rooms.

This was a great half-day tour! Early morning pickup was convenient and the brief orientation was nice. We skipped most of the lines,yet this is a popular attraction so there are going to crowds. Our guide was terrific at navigating our small group through it. And was very knowledgeable about the artwork and architecture. It made for a great tour exploring the Vatican.

The tour was ok. We didn't get to see much of the museum since we had to go to the Sistine Chapel. A lot of history. Our guide was very knowledgeable but a rude to someone when they asked for directions. I didn't care for that. Also, she said we had five minutes to take pictures, then she started to smoke. Not too professional.

This was amazing! We had the early morning, small group tour with Rosa and it was already pretty busy. Absolutely loved this place and having a knowledgeable guide and small group size was a must. Our family learned so much and highly recommend doing a small group, early morning tour as the afternoons are super congested during the high season.
