Semi Private Pompeii, Positano + Amalfi Coast Tour with Lunch

On your drive to the Amalfi coast, you will be able to stop at some scenic vistas. You will enjoy a 2 hour guided walking tour of Pompeii and have free time in Positano to explore. Lunch is included in a scenic family-run restaurant in the hills overlooking the Gulf of Naples and Sorrento. This tour will leave you with memories that will last a lifetime as they discover some of the most enchanting places of our "Bel Paese", Italy. This is a long day tour but a very rewarding one! The tour will conclude back at your client’s hotel in Rome at about 6.45/7pm. Our first stop is the famous site of Pompeii. You will enjoy a journey back in time as you visit the must-see highlights of this site with an english speaking guide. You will learn about life in Ancient Pompeii - the habits, lifestyles and peculiarities of the Ancient Romans as they tour the ancient market areas, food stalls, typical Roman homes, brothels, and admire the delightful frescoes all preserved by an erupting volcano that still dominates the Pompeii skyline. Our next destination is Frantoio Ferraro, a family-run authentic oil mill and restaurant where you will enjoy a light lunch in the garden overlooking the Gulf of Naples between Pompeii and Sorrento. Lunch consists of: Pasta with fresh tomatoes sauce or other home-grown seasonal vegetables, Caprese Salad (Mozzarella cheese and locally-produced tomatoes) water and limoncello – other drinks not included. In the afternoon we’ll spend 1.5 hours exploring Positano, where you can enjoy a walk around the delightful village with its white and pastel-coloured houses littering the hillside. You can take time to visit the beautiful beaches, where you can relax or have a swim, stroll around the ancient fishing port and see the splendid majolica dome of the church of Santa Maria Assunta. They can also peruse the traditional artisan shops and enjoy a taste of the "Dolce Vita". The tour will conclude back at your client’s hotel in Rome.
