  • Food and drinks

Additional
  • Confirmation will be received at time of booking

  • Please note: Raphael Rooms are available only for the first morning tour (if the tour option has been selected)
  • On Wednesdays departure there is the possibility that you will be unable to include St Peter’s Basilica. This is due to the weekly Papal Audience during which access to St. Peter’s Basilica could be closed. As an alternative you will be offered an extended itinerary within the Vatican Museums, which still includes the Sistine Chapel and the Raphael’s Rooms. It is important that you come to the meeting point at least 15 minutes prior to departure time. We are unable to accommodate other entrance times. Anyone who arrives late cannot be accommodated. We cannot predict when individual museums will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter and local holidays). Our skip the line tickets enable you to skip the line indeed if there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee which days and times will produce lines and which will not. On rare occasions Saint Peter’s Basilica closes without notice. When this happens, we will spend 3 hours touring the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. The tour guides aim to notify the guests if St. Peter’s Basilica unexpectedly closes upon commencement of the tour. It is beyond our control therefore no refunds or discounts will be issued.
  • Please be informed that the Vatican Museums provide wheelchair free of charge in the main lobby. You can easily pick one up upon entering, before starting your own independent visit.
  • If you are looking for a tour with wheelchair access you can choose our private wheelchair accessible tour so our guide can lead you through an alternate route.
  • Please note also that - the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica maintains a strict dress code year-round. All visitors must have their shoulders covered and pants/skirts must come to the knee. Please wear comfortable shoes.
  • Backpacks, tripods and big umbrellas must be left inside the cloakroom upon entering Vatican Museum. To reduce any disruption for your group, we recommend that backpacks are not taken on this tour.
  • Near public transportation
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
  • meeting point - Via Vespasiano 46b

This was a very disappointing experience for the Sistine Chapel. It was extremely hot and so crowded you could not even see the floor as you were shoulder to shoulder with about 500 people packed into the chapel. And I went at 9am. I could hardly look up to see the ceiling. Our tour guide, Alfredo, had a red umbrella that he held up to keep us together. Well there was another guide in the chapel with a red umbrella and I lost my group but I was able to catch up later. The tour of St. Peter's was very good and I enjoyed that very much.

It isn’t made clear enough that there is a meeting point for this tour even if you’re just getting an entry ticket!! Was late for the meeting point as I didn’t know and then couldn’t go in and wasted a lot of money!!!
