Head deep into the Frascati region — where the celebrated Pallavicini winemaking family has been working the land since the 17th century — and follow your guide on a tour of the Principe Pallavicini estate. We did this tour in September 2019 and it was well worth the money spent. We were taken by bus to Frascati and walked around a vineyard and saw the wine grapes. We then went to the actual wine tastings where we were given four samples of wine, and some snacks. It was very informative. We were also offered the opportunity to buy some of the wine from the region, and they were all very reasonably priced. The tour guide (I cannot remember her name, but she had curly hair), gave us info about the surrounding areas on the drive there and at the vineyard, and she was amazing. Overall would definitely recommend this tour!
The tasting room was way too small to be comfortable with our group size
My adult daughter, niece, and myself enjoyed the wine tour immensely. Laura was a lively, interesting tour guide. Really lived up to expectations.
This was everything and more, tour guide Monica met us at the Piazza Re Di Roma and the journey was only 45 minutes to the vineyard. Along the way she gave us a historical guide of Rome and more importantly about the wine and food. Would highly recommend. The vineyard tour itself was well planned and informative, met a great crowd there.
Great!!!
Our guide Aleksandra spelling? was very knowledgeable and she did an awesome job translating at our tasting! Everything from start to end went smoothly. Learned lots of things at the tasting, even bought a bottle of wine which unfortunately got left at a restaurant . Definitely recommend!
The entire trip was amazing, and our guide Rebecca was very entertaining and knowledgeable. We tried some great wines and saw the beautiful countryside in a very relaxed setting. I highly recommend! -Laura
