Lesson learned. For the amount of money this side trip cost us It was definitely not worth it. We could have easily gotten there on our own with the train and bought tickets to the museum that day. The lunch that was provided was awful..you will do better on your own. They took us on a bus ride around the perimeters of Florence when we arrived for 1.5 hours which clearly was a time waster for them and it was not informative or interesting. Do this side trip from Rome on your own...it is doable and will be way less expensive!

Loved the train ride to and from Rome. Florence was breathtaking. The tour was nice.
