Our guide provided such interesting information on Ancient Rome - enjoyed this tour more than I expected to
Tour guide RAN thru catacombs. 5 people left behind not knowing which way to go because we couldn't get down steps fast enough. NO time to look at things and definitely no time for pictures.
Only 6 people, nice small group. Pleasant guide. Nothing to really get excited about seeing on this tour. But the vehicle that took the English group was a minivan that had a row of rear facing seats, so 3 people were always looking out the back and could never see what the guide mentioned “on your right” or “on your left” The vehicle that took the non-English group had a van with all normal seats.
Serena was great and knowledgeable! The catacombs tour was really neat, but more walking than hearing about the catacombs. Aquaducts park was a great park and up close experience with the aquaducts.
David our guide was knowledgeable and humorous and added so much to our visit. He knew everyone's names and kept the small group together on a very busy day. Also he added so many interesting things about the city, the country and the language such as the derivation of the word 'salary' amongst others. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and would give his name and your company site to anyone who asked. Terrific. Barry and Maureen
Interesting, but not worth the money.
