About this activity
Ciao! I’m Antonella Wicki, a qualified yoga teacher.

Originally from Switzerland, I speak fluently: English, German, Italian and French.

I studied traditional Indian yoga in India and I’m a qualified yoga teacher studying and practicing yoga all my life: Anusara yoga with focus on alignment (US method), human anatomy, therapeutic yoga teacher and 5 years of studying and practicing meditations. 

I teach all levels of Hatha yoga, therapeutic yoga, dynamic yoga and mindful meditations.

During my lessons I love to help people to relax and feel good, taking a break from daily routines and stress, which are part of the world we live in. This is why we start by calming down our mind by practicing mindful yoga providing you with tools to master the stress which influences most of our subconscious and thoughts. Then I will explain the importance of heating up and feeling our outer articulations, feeling our bodies and the limits of our body during the yoga practice. We will continue with breathing exercises to see how deeply we can relax during a short meditation. 

I’m sure that once the lesson is over you will feel awake, relaxed and ready to explore Rome!

Two and a half hours yoga lesson, breathing exercise and mindful yoga at a peaceful spot inside Rome’s Villa Borghese park with Antonella, a qualified multilingual yoga teacher to start your day the right way.

At the meeting point I will introduce myself and will provide you with technical information about the lesson and expectations. We will walk 10 minutes to Villa Borghese enjoying one of the most beautiful panoramic points of Rome and will set up inside the Villa Borghese park at a relaxed point overlooking the city.

We will start the lesson by stretching and heating up our articulations, muscles, ligaments and tendons. Then we will do suryanamaskar sun salutations followed by a sequence of yoga positions. Then we will sing a few mantras and perform a series of breathing exercises followed by a very relaxing meditation of mindful yoga.
