Skip the lines at the Colosseum and head directly inside for a full tour of the general access areas with an expert local guide and small group of no more than 15 people. Learn the history of the structure and the vicious spectacles that took place inside, then head up to the special-access 3rd, 4th and 5th tiers for incredible views over the arena and the city beyond.
Next go back down to ground level and into the Roman Forum, skipping any lines, and walk in the footsteps of ancient Romans as you explore what used to be the civic and commercial center of the city. There are ancient temples, immense monuments, and building of all descriptions, all of which will be clarified and explained by your guide whose stories and anecdotes will transport back 2,000 years into the heart of the bustling empire.
Finally, stroll to the top of the Palatine Hill to see the ruins of old patrician villas which are still revealing many of their secrets and take in more views of the Forum and the city beyond.

Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate guests with mobility impairments, wheelchairs or strollers on this tour.
The Colosseum has changed its admission policy to ensure that only 3,000 people are allowed within the amphitheater at any given time, meaning much less crowding during busy periods. Although our tickets are pre-booked with Skip the Line access, this may mean a slight delay on entering if capacity has already been reached. We expect that the instances of this will be limited but ask for your patience if you travel on a busy day and are affected by this unavoidable circumstance. In all, it should make for a much nicer experience for all (and longer general access lines!).
The Colosseum is subject to occasional closures. The Colosseum administration is usually aware of this and informs us the day before or of a given closure. Please provide us with detailed contact information in case we need to reschedule your tour
