While in Rome and Florence I used Viator fir several tours. This was one of them and they have all been excellent. My children are ages 15, 12, 10. Colosseum tour with Alessandra was great! The pizza/gelato tour with Marco is exceptional. He’s amazing! Food tour with Matteo was unbelievable and Sistine Chaoel tour with Simone was also great!!So far while in Florence we have had. Cooking class that was great! And 3 hour tour this morning at davinci museum and David. Her name was Rose and she was exceptional!!Viator has been providing us with great experiences and we are so happy we took a chance with them. Heading to Venice and Paris next week. I’ll update my review after tours we have planned there.
We though this would be a great tour to involve the whole family there were 6 of us including my 10 year old nephew and 15 year old niece. We meet Maria our tour guide outside the Vatican museum. There was one other family. We were not disappointed. Maria was fantastic, so engaging and very informative. She got us all involved and the children thought she was great. They loved playing the game and got so much out of it. They were talking about it for days afterwards. Skip the line tours are a must if you have limited time and if you have children I highly recommend this tour. Thank you so much Maria.
Highly recommended for families with kids, very interactive. Our tour guide Maria was just amazing!
Our guide was very nice, but the tour was a little all over the place. We needed more background for the kids (we are not catholic) for them to understand the history of the Vatican and the pope.
Even though we went in the winter and supposedly the crowds were manageable, there was still a lot of people and at times difficult to hear our guide. It was informative for me as an adult, but the info on the history and background of the paintings were lost on the kids. I wished that she covered a bit more about the Vatican itself and brought us to see more of it rather than the Carriage Pavilion, which was nice but didn't warrant a whole side tour.
We were very happy with this tour. Our group included six adults and four children. Maria, our excellent tour guide, was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and involved the children throughout. Can recommend.
