About this activity
Get a guaranteed admission at the Papal Audience in either St. Peter's Square or Nervi Hall. Experience seeing Pope Francis and listening to him welcome pilgrims, impart his blessing and lead the prayers. Thanks to our secured priority admission to the event, we will pick you up in the early morning from your hotel (or our Office) and transport you to the Vatican. Live an intensely spiritual moment side-by-side with people from around the world. Feel free to pray or simply observe one of the most incredible, long-standing traditions in the Catholic world. Your experience includes a short panoramic tour of via Nazionale, Piazza Venezia, Corso Vittorio, Corso Rinascimento and the Lungotevere, with drop-off at Piazza dei Tribunali (located about 1 mile/1,6 km from St. Peter’s Basilica). To reach the Basilica, your group will walk past Castel Sant’Angelo and via Della Conciliazione. You will check in with our guaranteed tickets at the square, passing through a metal detector. Our experienced and professional guide will take you to a spot where you will have an excellent view of the ceremony. After the audience, you will be accompanied to a typical Roman restaurant nearby to enjoy a meal before returning to the Vatican, where you will finally discover the masterpieces of Christian Rome, like the famed Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica. You won't have to worry about waiting in long lines on this tour. We are here to ensure that you skip the lines and our expert guide will be there to give you an insider's point of view. The afternoon tour is the best option to visit the Museums and St. Peter's Church without the morning crowd. The Vatican Museum No trip to Rome is complete without a visit to the Vatican Museums. These museums are home to some of the most famous works of art in the world, with artists including Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Caravaggio, Raphael, and Giotto, to name a few. An experience that is sure to inspire the art lover in anyone. The Sistine Chapel The 54th gallery of the Vatican Museums is the famed Sistine Chapel. Completed around 1483, the Sistine Chapel is arguably the most famous chapel in the world due to the artwork located within. View many of the most famous frescoes in the world, including the famous ceiling and "The Last Judgement" painted by Michelangelo. Not only does the Sistine Chapel hold some of the world's most precious works of art, but it is still used for religious purposes such as the Papal Conclave, that is the process through which a new Pope is chosen.
