About this activity

Approximately 1,5 hours after departure, a 15-minutes stop for a quick break on the road will be granted.

Then, you'll head to Pompeii where a professional guide will take you on a 2-hour group tour exploring one of the world's most engrossing archaeological experiences: a historical city covered by volcanic dust from Mt. Vesuvius in AD 79.

After the visit, you will be given approximately 1 hour of free time around the city of Pompeii to enjoy lunch, go shopping, get a cup of coffee or just relax before heading back to Rome.

You will be back in Rome at around 5:30pm (or a bit later, depending on traffic conditions).

PLEASE NOTE: The archaeologic site in Pompeii is closed on the 25th of December and on the 1st of January every year
