While our tour guide was amazing the crowds at the Vatican were overwhelming. We shuffled along the corridors as people pushed and jostled each other to stay with their groups. We literally were should to shoulder for the entire tour. We had a small group of 4 and it was impossible to see things. People were disrespectful and talking when it was inappropriate. The number of people was truly unsafe.
The tour guide met us at the hotel on time and was very informative not only at the Vatican but also while we were traveling by showing other points of interest on the way. On the tour, she didn't rush the tour and allowed us to see some areas, collection of animals and sculptures, which weren't on the general tour. She ensure that we returned to our hotel safely and in a timely manner. Great day!
Elisa was our tour guide for the day and she gave us a lot of history and information on the Vatican and St. Peter's Basilica. Elisa talked to us about what we were going to see and experience, before we entered the Vatican, which helped us tremendously. The Sistine Chapel was breath-taking and the entire tour was really just wonderful from beginning to end. Elisa was very pleasant and warm to us and she did a great job on our tour. Thank you, Moretti Family California, USA
Our tour was fabulous! Azzurra was a sensational tour guide, made us feel completely comfortable, and was a fountain of knowledge about everything she showed us. We skipped all the lines, and got into areas that others were not allowed to enter. She made us feel special from the first moment she picked us up at the hotel. We didn't just SEE things - we EXPERIENCED them thank to her. My wife has bad knees, and she kept the pace to one that suited us. It was truly a great time, and we can't imagine we could have enjoyed it any more than we did. The history was awesome. We heartily recommend this tour, and this tour guide! You made our whole trip.
This tour was amazing and our guide, Marco, was fantastic! Honestly, we thought we were doing a group tour, we didn't mean to purchase the private tour, but we're glad we did! Personal attention, great guide, plus you get to pass everyone and see extra things that others didn't see. Wonderful! THANK YOU MARCO!!!
This tour was made especially enjoyable due to our guide Marco. He was very enthusiastic and informative in an entertaining way. Highly recommend this tour.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable. Wonderful experience. She picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel. Very punctual.
Rosie gave an excellent tour! Friendly, Funny, knowledgeable! Really enjoyed this time with her! My family thanks you for making this tour so memorable! You are awesome!
We had a private tour with tour guide Katie. It was an excellent tour. Besides being pleasant and helpful during the tour her knowledge of the subject and detail of the history was very enlightening. We enjoyed the tour and learned a lot.
We are very happy that we booked a private tour which included a short
We spent a morning with Francesco doings the Hidden Gems of the Vatican. We would give him more stars if we could. He picked us up at the hotel early and gave us a fascinating background on Rome and Italy on our way there. He knew how to move quickly and then spend time at key points or areas of interest. His depth of knowledge was superb especially accompanied by photos and images on his Ipad. We learnt so much while thoroughly enjoying ourselves. Francesco is personable and fun. I would highly recommend him to our friends and would definitely do another tour with him when we are next in Rome.
Elisa was simply fantastic passionate, knowledgeable, patient, concerned we went at a pace that kept everyone engaged, and answered all our questions. Highly recommend her services!
This was a very good tour of the Vatican. The hidd3en gems part was great. We were able to get in to areas of the Vatican that are normally closed to tours. Though a bit crowded due to Italian schools off for their Easter break its was manageable. Our tour guide Claudia was great.
This tour was amazing!
Our guide was very well versed on the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. My granddaughters were very impressed with her knowledge of the artifacts. There is not much to add to this site after you use the word fantastic and awesome. Definitely a must see when in Rome
