Simon was excellent guide, enjoyed the food, making new friends, time and photo opportunities, was great
The tour guide was excellent and the food very good. However the tour was not scheduled to take us back to the hotel. We were left to find a way back on our own. This was unacceptable to leave guest late at night In a city they don't know.
the guide was great! the restaurant was NOT, did not like the restaurant, pasta was good , fish was ok, salad looked to be old . desert was horrible. please chose a new restaurant for this tour
The tour of Rome was good and the food was good. What I did not like was that we were not told that we would have to find our own way back to the hotel. They picked us up at the hotel and we expected to be back to the hotel. If we had not met a couple from the hotel, we would not have know what to do. We did not even have the address of the hotel with us and it was not nearly as close to the city as we thought we were going to be
Our tour guide was entertaining and good at their job. They gave us lots of information and answered all questions. Food was delicious of course. Would recommend this tour to others.
What an amazing time we had and especially since this was our FIRST time in Rome and our first night on the town. The tour guide Alessandra was the BEST!!!! We absolutely loved her. She was the most welcoming and friendliest tour guide we have ever had. She made everyone on our bus feel welcome and appreciated. I wish we had more people in the U.S. like her. We enjoyed every minute. Her melodious voice was music to our ears as she navigated the streets of Rome and took us on tours of the city at night and highlighted all the major historic sites of the city that we shouldn't miss. The restaurant that was included in our booking was phenomenal. I have a new appreciation for Italian food. The pasta dish, fish dish and the dessert was excellente!!! What a fabulous time we had which was made even more great by our wonderful and delightful tour guide Alessandra!! I hope you have a chance to experience this wonderful tour with such a tour guide as we had that evening. thank you Carrani Tours and especially Alessandra!!!
Tour guide very informative. The meal was very good.
The hotel pickup was about 30 minutes too early we had to sit and wait at the tour office until everyone else arrived and our hotel drop off was about a block and a half walk fairly late at night. Dinner was excellent and in a very neat restaurant with excellent service. The night tour was less than great, we drove by a lot of things, but only spent a few minutes at the Trevi fountain, didn't even see the Spanish steps or Pantheon were on the wrong side of the bus. We didn't enjoy the speed walk through the Trastevere area, it was a if you see something you will need to come back, the best part was one store we went into passed out samples and then we were expected to buy something. Dinner was the only redeeming quality of this tour.
Amazing tour of Rome by night! Get your cameras ready to take the most amazing pictures of Rome by night. I would rate this tour 10 stars but there is only 5. By the end of the night the group became a small family.
