About this activity

The appointment is at our meeting point in the pedestrian area of Castel Sant'Angelo. We will teach you how to drive a Segway through the beautiful Hadrian Mole Gardens. After that we'll be ready to head to Piazza Navona and then Campo de' Fiori, crowded and bustling market in the day time and romans' gathering point at night time. We will admire the beauty of Ponte Sisto on the Tiber, then crossing Piazza Venezia we'll climb the Campidoglio to enjoy the breathtaking view of the monument which best represents Rome: the Coliseum. Then riding along the Fori Imperiali we'll get to the world's most famous fountain, Trevi fountain. From there we'll reach the Spanish Steps to then loop back to our starting point, Castel Sant'Angelo.

Tour guide was poor, most of the group couldn't hear him, passed by points of interest with no comment and found the information he did give was poorly explained. At the end of the tour he was sick everywhere (he told me he had a very heavy drinking session the night before). Would have been better to have a couple of hours on the segway and leave him behind.

Highly enjoyable tour. We did this on our first night in Rome. Segways are easy to learn and fun to ride on. We covered all the places mentioned. I have to mention that the route taken on this tour is especially nice. You get to see Castel Sant'Angelo lighted up when you end the tour. And the gardens are a great place to practice the segway. Our instructor / guide was very helpful, friendly and she gave us enough time to enjoy each of the sights.

I wish there was the option of 10 stars ... this tour is the absolute bomb! Our guide and instructor was so enjoyable and knowledgeable that we wanted to keep going after our time was up. Frederico was so patient while instucting us how to use the Segways, loved his wonderful sense of humor ... It was obvious how much he loved his city and his ability to share about the amazing history of the city was engrossing to the point that we had a hard time leaving each sight we visited. The Segways were so much fun ... we didn't want to stop! It truly is the ideal way to see Rome's highlights.
