Rome to Florence: Small Group Day Trip with David & City Stroll
Catch a train from Rome to Florence with a small group of 15 people and a tour leader to make sure everything goes smoothly. In just 90 minutes you’ll disembark in Florence and meet your local expert guide.
Head inside the Florence Accademia to learn about one of the greatest works of art in the world; Michelangelo’s ‘David’. The history of Western Art is bound up in this statue, so you’ll be hanging on every word that your guide tells you about it.
Next, take a relaxed city stroll past some of the Florence’s most iconic sights, like the Ponte Vecchio and the Loggia dei Lanzi, while your guide gives you little nuggets of information that will help you see more of the city for yourself later. Wind your way to Florence’s most important outdoor food market and get a crash course in the basics of Tuscan cuisine. You’ll also pass by the leather market and learn where to buy the best wares.
