Enjoy a 3-hour walking tour led by a local and professional art historian. Meet your guide near to Flaminio Station and let yourself be carried away by the magical atmosphere that only a walking tour of the city can offer.
Start the tour visiting the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo and the nearest Piazza del Popolo, continue to the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria where one of the most interesting Bernini's sculptures, Estasi di Santa Teresa, is preserved. Head to the famous temple of all gods, the Pantheon; walk through the roman streets and visit the incredible Piazza Navona and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour will end at the attractive and timeless St. Peter's Square.

Sadly this tour was not what we expected which was a 3 hour WALKING tour. Our guide tried her best but we had trouble understanding her speech as she had a very heavy accent. We travelled part way on foot, then on the public underground rail for which we needed to purchase tickets! and then also a public bus. Both these modes of transport were crowded with hot and sweaty people, with a couple of pickpockets as well. One of our tour members had his pocket tested!!! We did not get a lot out of this tour, in fact we cut it short in the end as we had so much trouble understanding the guide and preferred to taxi back to our meeting point rather than take more public transport! Although the sites were okay it was not a tour we would recommend at all.
