Your tour will start as soon as your ship reaches the dock in Civitavecchia port: a private English-speaking driver will come and pick you up at the dock on board of a VIP car or minivan. You will be escorted to the centre of Rome where a private, licensed guide will join you for a memorable tour, sharing with you all their knowledge about the city of Rome (all our guides have either a degree in Archaeology or in Art History).

Be ready now to immerse yourself in the glorious history of Ancient Rome: your guide will take you to the Colosseum and will tell you all about its magnificient past, the spectacular Gladiators’ fights, the adventures of the Emperors and Kings of Rome and the daily lives of the city’s first inhabitants.

When your tour of the Colosseum is finished your guide will take you to the Pantheon, one of Rome’s most fascinating and best preserved buildings. Here you will also stop for a complimentary ice-cream, to end your tour on a sweet note!

Please note that although we purchase skip the line tickets for the Colosseum there can be some waiting to pass the security check. Every visitor to the Colosseum must pass a metal detector security check.
