Our guide Mario was excellent - very knowledgeable about the Vatican and he really kept the tour interesting. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Mario was excellent! He was very knowledgable about the Vatican and its history. Funny and came across very well to my family. Our daughter was in a wheelchair and he went out of his way to make sure she could get around and see all the sights.
Nice little breakfast. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I loved the getting in early. However the tour felt rushed. We stood in one place several times to hear extensively about history, then were rushed past or completely missed exhibits. I felt it would have been better if we could've walked and talked. We literally stood in one spot for 10 min in one hall filled with beautiful sculptures, then didn't even go to the end of the hall. I ended up breaking away from the group to actually see sculptures and paintings several times. Our guide was very nice, but I can google history or listen while I walk and may never see the sculptures up close again.
