This was one of the few tours where we didn't go with a guided tour. When we arrived the person getting the tickets was so rude. When I tried to ask questions they simply replied with "what do you want". Perhaps because we didn't book with the tour guide. Not impressed.

Guide had excellent knowledge-explained the thinking and meaning behind the sculptures and art-really helped in appreciating the place of these works in the life and times of the Borghese’

Fredericka was excellent. So much knowledge brought art to life. Recommend her and the gallery for any visit to Rome.

This museum was highly recommended to me and it exceeded every expectation! The tour guide’s passion for the art enhanced the experience and the gardens are beautiful.

For a service that consists of them providing you a ticket (no guide), the cost ($40 Euro each) is double if you buy through the gallery itself (20 Euro). Just plan far enough ahead.

The number of visitors allowed into Borghese Gallery is closely monitored, so knowing that we had a reserved time slot eliminated any unknowns. Check-in and entry went smoothly. The Gallery itself is amazing, and definitely worth a visit.

The experience was wonderful and educational. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in history and culture. The tickets allowed us to walk past the "walk-ups" and begin our visit on schedule. The only thing I would suggest is to be a little more formal with original greeting. We couldn't our greeter and when we did, we stood in line for 10 minutes before he corrected us and told us to use the door on the lower floor. But that's just a minor thing. It was a great tour.

There was no line to skip and this did not include a guide. So it was not really useful. The gallery was amazing. If I were to do it again, I would take the garden "tour" before it closed and bring my lunch to enjoy in the park.

Beautiful art and well organized but could have spent less time per piece in order to see more pieces.

You can tour the Borghese Gallery and Gardens on your own, but the guided tour option really adds a lot to the experience. Our tour guide Emiliano was excellent in leading us through the exhibits and explaining the background behind each of the major works of arts. We really enjoyed his commentary. The walk and ongoing commentary moving through the extensive gardens to a beautiful viewpoint of the city below were very nice as well. One recommendation would be to not schedule this tour for your first day in Rome after a long day(s) of travel. It is pretty intensive. The Borghese is definitely a don't miss attraction while in Rome.

Nothing at all wrong with the Borghese Gallery! However, we waited in a line to get out tickets form the agent - in the sun. Then waited in line on the steps to get into the gallery. Also another wait in the sun. A lot of visitors had the same time, and the security people only let everyone in at that time. Also, we had to go out again to get the audio tour in the basement.Since I had not paid for a guided tour, that would have been good info to know!

Made reservations for 3:00 pm. Discovered that it meant 9:00 am italian time and missed the event. Later learned I could by tickets at the event for 1/3 the cost. Disappointed!

Don't skip this museum! This was my third time to Rome and third time to the Borghese. It's totally worth it.

City Wonders was the tour operator for this tour. We bought tickets only, and were satisfied with the experience.
