A little confusing meeting up with our group. (Many groups meet up in the same spot). Guide was exceedingly knowledgeable of Ancient Rome culture and politics- which he incorporated into the tour. Very enjoyable!
This tour is alright but, it is too rushed. More time was needed in the Coliseum. The guide rushed us through too quickly. About 5 minutes maximum was spent on the 2nd level. Time to visit the gift shop was not allotted. This is important because you cannot re-enter the Coliseum. The Roman Forum had buildings that were open for you to enter. Our guide did not take us to those buildings at all. The tour was supposed to last 3 hours but, it lasted 2 hours and 40 minutes tops. Not sure if they are counting the time you are to meet the guide 20 minutes prior to the tour starting time? If you go to the Coliseum early in the morning, you will not have lines and can take all the time you want to explore.
The tour was amazing and our guide, Priscilla, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We'd definitely recommend this package.
We did this tour as a family of 6, on a rainy day, and it was still amazing. Very good tour operator and well planned walk. We can definitely recommend this one.
Go guide, explination was adequate
Excellent tour! I was amazed at how much we were able to cover in the time allotted for the tour. The guide was well-versed in her material and had a great command of the English language. This part of the ancient Roman historical area is something to behold. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a good working knowledge of the three sites included.
