Meet your guide and an the rest of your group outside the Vatican Museums entrance at 7:30am, then begin your 3-hour exploration of the Vatican state. With special early entrance tickets, you'll enter the Vatican Museums and see the highlights of the galleries with less crowds. Your expert guide will provide commentary based on their knowledge of the famous works of art housed inside, including the spectacular Raphael Rooms. From here, enter the world-renowned Sistine Chapel with its famous painted ceiling by Michelangelo. Finally, pass through the reserved skip-the-line passageway from the Sistine Chapel to St. Peter's Basilica, where you'll learn all about the world's most famous cathedral.

After a 3-hour break, make your way to the second meeting point located near the Colosseum by 1pm in order to join the tour of Colosseum or Colosseum and Ancient Rome . Armed with skip-the-line tickets, your guide will accompany you through the awe-inspiring Colosseum. You will benefit from a special access into the Colosseum's Arena, enjoying a stunning overview on the Dungeons. Here you'll learn all about its gruesome and grizzly past, including the bloody gladiator combats that took place inside. For those who have chosen the extended option you will then continue to learn about the rest of Ancient Rome, as you walk around the ruins of the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Prepare yourself for a long day with lots of walking. The operator for the Colosseum tour can be hard to find - it very close to the metro station but not obvious.
