The tour was overbooked and had to be split, causing delay. The minute we arrived through security we took an extended rest room break. Once we finally got started the tour moved excruciatingly slowly and then came to a complete halt when a family lost a belonging and the guide went back with them for at least 15 minutes. At this point we turned in our headphones and plugged in the Rick Steve’s tour (for free). As we left the Sistine Chapel at closing time we saw our group arrive. The worst tour I’ve ever booked.

Nice, quick tour of the Vatican. Our guide, Christina was very personable and funny and could maneuver us through the crowds of people like nothing.

Informative and well organized group tour. Our tour guide, Eugenio, kept my 13 yr old and 9 yr old engaged for the 2 hour tour. For a site that is always packed with people, our tour guide managed to keep the group well organized and moving at a good pace. Good for families. Highly recommend.

This was the first tour that I had signed up for and had no idea what to expect. Our tour guide, Saverio, was amazing. He explained the whole process for us as a group to get into the museum, and throughout the tour he was informative, open to questions and kept the group together with a sense of humor. Next time I return to Rome I will be signing up for more tours

Great tour. Our knowledgeable and expert guide made sure we got so much more out of the visit than if we had just gone on our own. He didn't talk about everything in the museum would have been impossible but talked about certain highlights, making sure we understood the main points. Really enjoyed it and skipping the line is worth every uro, anyway!

Our guide, Saverio, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining, and we really enjoyed this tour with him. All the destinations were beautiful, and the history was fascinating. Saverio could answer any question in depth, and clearly had a passion for his work. He would get 5 stars on his own. Why only 4 for the tour, you might ask? Three and a half weren't an option, and three was too low. Here's why... When we arrived at our meeting place and saw the lines of people waiting, we were SO glad we booked this tour! Maybe because it was such a busy day at the Vatican, we ended up waiting a long time to actually get started, though. We arrived to check in for our 9:30 tour to find out we'd been bumped to a 10:30 tour because they were so busy. At 10:30 we walked to the front where we waited another 30 minutes for our tickets to get in. Once inside we waited about 30 minutes for our headsets so the tour could start. I'm sure they were strategically spacing out the groups because it was so crowded, and it was completely beyond our tour guide's control, but what we expected to be a few hours ended up taking more than 5. Some in our group ended up having to leave early because they had other activities scheduled, and we ended up taking a cab across town and running the last half mile to get to our 2:45 tour at the Colosseum. In summary, it was worth it to skip the line, and we thoroughly enjoyed Severio, but don't go into this expecting to jump right to the front of the line and head inside. Plan on a lot of waiting before the tour actually gets started.
