Next to the Church you will walk by the house of the Dominicans where scientist Galileo was trialed in XVII century.

A wonderful young lady showed us around the Pantheon and Santa Maria Sopra Minerva. It would have been better if a headphone system was provided.

The Pantheon and Santa Maria Sopra Minerva tour was definitely a worthwhile experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared lots of insightful information about both sites that we definitely would not have known had we toured on our own. Note that the meeting place is on the side of the Pantheon near Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, not at the front of the Pantheon.
