We enjoyed this visit and loved our tour guide. The Roman forum and Pompei are must sees for any European vacation. In my opinion, understanding their history puts almost everything else in context. Seeing the sites with a knowledgeable guide is a must and a small group or private tour are the way to go. Dress for hot temps, bring sunscreen and an insulated water bottle with lots of ice! Eat in Sorrento if you can, the food atPompeii is so-so.

You will notice that it lists Positano and Almalfi but we did not end up there. Instead we were taken to Sorrento. Not sure why but that was what happened. Sorrento was lovely but it was not Almalfi.
