Then head to the Sistine Chapel just before closing time. Before entering, your guide will explain the stories behind the creation of these iconic frescoes as well as what they mean. Duration: 2 hours
Stop At: St. Peter's Basilica, Piazza di San Pietro, 00120 Vatican City Italy

I Sieve was amazing. He was knowledgeable on all things Vatican and Rome. It was the best tour we've taken. Highly recommend!
It was my wife's first time in Rome and my first time using a guided tour of the Vatican. We highly recommend using their service! The guide was friendly, warm, patient and so knowledgeable. We took the 2:30pm tour in the last week of December. The tour was approximately 2.5 hours. So in winter, that means the tour ends at around dusk... beautiful! The highlights of the Vatican was just what we needed, it was not too long, and it gave us time to take in the magnificent details all the art work that the Vatican City had to offer. At the end of the tour, you are left by the guide to peruse at your own leisure the St Peter Basilica -- but only after she gave us tips on what to see inside the Basilica. A little tip from us: if you speak a little Italian, and the evening mass is commencing, ask one of the guards in the Basilica if you can participate, because we did! We got to sit in the pew! Amazing.
Our guide Simone was well informed but the tour seemed a bit rushed - there is a lot to pack in during a short time. A good overview of the galleries and would recommend as you won't have to wait around long.
