About this activity
Meet your chef at a designated loft apartment in Rome's city center, where you'll be greeted with Prosecco and snacks―the perfect aperitivo to kick things off.

There’s nothing like a home-cooked Italian meal, especially when you prepare it yourself with the help of a professional chef and then savor the results on the outdoor terrace of a beautiful Roman apartment. This is typically something that only city locals (and those who are friends with a true Italian chef) get to experience. Now here's your chance.

After some time getting to know your fellow chefs, it's into the kitchen where you'll learn to make various pasta from scratch. This is one of the most important skills of any Italian food chef and you'll have an opportunity to hone your pasta-making techniques under the guidance of a professional chef.

Once the pasta is prepared and cooked, it's time to indulge in the fruits of your labor with a sit-down meal on the terrace. Sip wine, question your chef on all things food- and Rome-related, and savor this unique experience alongside a group of new friends.

Chefs Federica and Stefano were warm and welcoming. Very patient and thoughtful. The class was just the right size so it was easy to follow along and there was not too much "down time." Lots of Prosecco was consumed during class but much more of our own pasta consumed during the meal. Lovely to share the experience with different kinds of people/travelers. The class included a visit through a farmer's market and a bakery for a snack (included) plus a recipe book of the items we made and more. Well organized. Highly enjoyable. Good value.

We had a great time with our chefs Raffaela and Federica. They were a joy to learn from. Everything went very smoothly. Being on the rooftop was a fun experience but there are several flights of stairs to get to the apartment. There is a small 2 person elevator if you need it, but there are more stairs to get to the rooftop. Definitely not handicap accessible so make sure you can handled stairs. Anyway, the food that we all made was delicious and so was the dessert that they had for us. We left very full...lots of food to enjoy and wine to enjoy. We will be trying to re-create our pasta skills for a dinner party when we get home. We would definitely do again!

Everything was perfect about this attraction from the location (on a rooftop terrace), the ambiance, the camaraderie of the chefs (we had two), and the finished product...our meal. We had a small group (six people). The chefs, Fernanda and Manuela, made us feel welcome and at ease. My husband and nephew, neither of whom cook, agreed that this was the best experience of our trip. We had so much fun and highly recommend this attraction. My compliments to Fernanda and Manuela for making this an outstanding experience.

My boyfriend and I love to cook so we booked this class during our visit to Rome so we could learn how to make pasta. It was SO much fun and I would highly recommend it to everyone! We met the group at the designated location, it was pretty easy to find everyone. A representative took our group to the apartment building where our cooking class would be held. There were about 10 of us there plus the 2 chefs. The apartment was beautiful and we had our class on the roof. They rent out this apartment specifically for cooking classes apparently. The chefs were super engaging and fun, so you don't have to be a good cook to enjoy this class. Between the bottomless prosecco and wine and getting to eat the pasta/ravioli I was definitely happy. We made some great friends in the class too! Plus they give you a recipe book at the end so you can re-create the food at home. 5 star experience!

My 18-year old son looked at me like I had 3 heads when I told him we were taking a pasta cooking class in Rome. He only hoped he wasn't the only guy getting himself covered in flour and egg. He wasn't pleasantly surprised to see several guys on the terrace. Our chefs, Stefano and Francesco were absolutely amazing and very entertaining. I don't think I will ever roll my dough without doing a little dance thanks to Francesco! The two pastas we created and sauces were molto delizioso!! We couldn't have had more of an incredible and very memorable time!!! Grazie mille, chefs!!!

Wow! I booked this experience about a week before my trip to Rome and I can say that I am beyond happy that I did. Giulia and Stefano were FANTASTIC hosts; their dynamic made the experience that much better. They were hilarious, wanted to get to know everyone, were very helpful and knowledgeable. You can tell they love their job. Not to mention the food was delicious! If you’re planning a trip to Rome, this is a must! I will definitely rebook when back in Rome.

This is a must do when you are in Rome! The class was so much fun from start to finish. It was exciting to go step by step on how to make pasta, share wine and make new friends. Thank you for being awesome. We even received a certificate.

The cooking class hold at a private home at the top floor. The terrace is so nice with the view and open air. We were amazed by that. We learned to make the ravioli and Tiramisu from scratch. They are both very simple but and basic but tasty. I would recommend this cooking class to you if you are looking for something different to do in Rome:)

What can I say except from amazing! This was the best class with no more than 6 people. Raphaella, our chef, was wonderful and so helpful, teaching us how to make home made fettuccine and ravioli dishes. She even gave us a list of recommended places to eat in her opinion which is such a gem when in Rome! My boyfriend and I loved it and will be making lots more pasta at home x

This was my best experience of my trip. Dinner was served outside with wine and the 2 different pastas that we got to make. The chefs were amazing! Would highly recommend it.

To welcome us there were appetizers and proseco! The 2 Chef's were great - one taught us how to make pasta from scratch and the other how to make the sauces. We actually got to eat what we made! The weather was perfect and we got to eat on the roof-top garden with mini-lights. They served Red and White Wine with Dinner and then Lemoncello with Dessert! A great evening.

Giulia and Stefano are amazing instructors! After gathering at our meeting point, we walked over to a nearby apartment where the cooking facility is clean, organized and beautiful on a gorgeous rooftop terrace. We were three of us, but there were 10 more people in the group...and we all got along marvelously. The individualized pasta making was awesome. Giulia and Stefano are so knowledgeable yet so fun! Only if they could make our meals each night!! This was a highlight event of our entire Italy trip! Our son wants to make more pasta tonight! THANK YOU!

This experience is a wonderful mixture of education, entertainment, and eating. Aside from learning about pasta making: proper ingredients and technique, you get to enjoy making and eating your own food. An additional bonus is meeting fellow travelers and sharing the time with them. Don't miss this eperience!
