Your tour of Ancient Rome starts at the charming Barberini Square, famous for exquisite Baroque fountain sculpted by Bernini. Head across the piazza, to the square of Four Fountains, passing by an impressive Barberini Palace (former residence of Pope).
Walk by the Presidential Palace to the Quirinal Hill and stop to admire an amazing view of Rome and Saint Peter’s Basilica.
From the Quirinal Hill, head to the traditional and enchanted neighborhood of Monti, follow your guide to the birthplace of Julius Caesar, and visit one of the most ancient churches in Rome.
Next stop is a palace designed by Raphael, for the mistress of the Pope Borgia. Climb the stairs through the dark and mysterious Scalinata dei Borgia to find an ancient Basilica of Saint Peter in Chains. Once inside the Basilica, you will be amazed by the priceless works of art, especially the statue of Moses, by Michelangelo.
