The private tour is very expensive, however you will be able to see much more and spend less time in the crowds by getting to the Vatican before the thousands arrive. We entered the museum area and moved very quickly. It wasn't until we hit the Sistine and St Peter's that the crowds were immense. Julia was extremely knowledgeable and personable as our guide. Our driver arrived early and we were there waiting for him. The title of this tour is deceiving as you aren't picked up until after the sun has risen. You do however arrive so that you are one of the first groups getting in the Vatican when it opens. Thank you Julia!
My third time through the Vatican museums and St. Peter's and by far the best! I learned a ton of information I did not know. The indivdiual attention and early access to the museum was well worth the price.
