In Piazza Colonna you could see the column erected by Marcus Aurelius (almost 2000 years ago), now considered by locals as the very heart of the city. Through the typical narrow Roman streets, you will reach the square of Santa Maria della Rotonda, where you could see the Pantheon. Its famous perforated dome remains the largest and most significant one ever built.
