This Vatican Tour is designed for wheelchair users. Your tour will be a interesting knowledgeable journey that will only last three hours and includes the Pinacoteca, Chiaramonti Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Your tour unfortunately does not include St. Peter's Basilica, but we highly recommend that you stop here before you leave Rome! We do require that you are acompanied by someone during your tour, in case you need assistance.

Your expert professional guide will lead you to the most important parts of the Vatican Museums, which have wheelchair accessibility. Your expert guide will enlighten you about all the interesting facts and art pieces in the Pinacoteca. Here at the Pinacoteca you will be able to see a number of masterpieces from the greatest artists in the history of Italian painting. You will have the chance to see works from Giotto to Beato Angelico, from Melozzo da Forlì to Perugino and Raphael, from Leonardo to Tiziano, Veronese, Caravaggio and Crespi.

Another museum that you will see is the Chiaramonti Museum. Pius VII Chiaramonti founded this museum and included a collection of Roman busts and statues. There are about a thousand sculptures, including portraits of emperors and gods, several fragments, friezes and relieves of sarcophagi.

Your tour will then come to an end by visiting the most famous chapel in the world, the Sistine Chapel. Named after his commissioner, Sixtus IV della Rovere (1471-1484), who decided to have a large room built where the “Cappella Magna” once stood. Today, this famous chapel is visited by millions of tourists coming from around the world. It is one of the most impressive spaces with masterpieces created by the masters Michelangelo, Perugino, Botticelli and many more artists of 1400.

ATTENTION: Please note that the tour price include the admission fee for Vatican Museums only for the disabled and the first helper. In case there is the second helper need to pay the entrance fees 23 euro per person. Please note that you must present your disability travel card from your home country and that the agency do not offer rental service of wheelchair and assistance services. After you have done the booking, please contact us to confirm the number of disable people in your group.
